Impressions please? How does it look, feel? Do you have any complaints?

I idea of playing AC3 on my lap on the couch is extremely appealing. But does it work and loll good?

For games that allow it, I play almost exclusively on the gamepad. So comfortable.

Depends in all honesty. I have my Wii U set up at my desk, so I mostly play with the TV anyway since it's right there. On the other hand, when I went home for the holidays and I was sharing a TV with family, I played on the GamePad a lot more. It sucked to lose a little functionality with some games (I missed the GamePad map on Arkham City so much) but in terms of appearance it looked great.

Not if I can avoid it, my tv looks way better.

Yeah, this. To me this is like playing with a remote control Lambo, when you have the real thing in the driveway (of course most of us dont but you get the point).

I cant imagine playing on this little screen while sitting right in front of a 60" TV that looks significantly more glorious.

But is it worth it if the tv is unavailable

Of course. That was their main selling point of it. But if the TV is free and you have a nice TV, little hard to justify only playing on the gamepad.

My main issue with it for games that use the gamepad with the TV. For example if I play ME3 on just the gamepad, all of the gamepad features that I like when Im playing on my TV are turned off. Might as well just go play it on the PS3 then.

No, since that defeats the point of a home console. If there is something on TV that I don't want to watch, then I play on the TV. If I'm watching TV, I'm not going to miss the show when the game isn't going anywhere for the 30-60 minutes a show is on. Plus, HD and screen size is MUCH better than the gamepad.
