Would you buy MegaMan 2.5D If Nintendo picked it up as an exclusive? Trailers.

Hate to say it, but Capcom shutting down MegaMan 2.5D seems much more likely.

But I could see myself buying it, either as a download, or as a part of a bigger disc package.

They didnt shut down SFxMegaman.

Or Mega man 7 (8bit version)
Or Mega Man 8 (8 bit version)

Metroid Zero Mission and Super Metroid are some of the finest 2D games ever made and are the best in the series.
Metroid Fusion is pretty cool I guess.

And of course Project AM2R, which most of you should know about by now but still worth mentioning. This is one game that really needs to be picked up even though it runs on Game Maker. The graphics arent up to date but they are better than Super Metroid's and everything else is perfect.

The demo for the remake of Metroid 2 and Confrontation are both worth downloading.

I really wish we could see something like MM 2.5D on consoles. Its a great way to give us that retro feel while adding something new to the genre instead of simply enhanced visuals.

Check out Sonic Fan Remix and tell me you wouldn't take this over the recent Sonic games released.

You can find the demo floating around somewhere as well as the unfinished WIP for Chemical Plant.

Um, I would gladly take Sonic Colors and Sonic Generations over a fan remake.

As if this game is worse than Sonic 4, a relatively recent official Sonic release. No, I think I'd take the fan remake instead.

I once worked with a guy for three years and never learned his name. Best friend I ever had. We still never talk sometimes.

He said "games", as in plural, which means more than just Sonic 4.

Maybe they won't, but there is always the chance. Either Capcom likes having cheap productions from outsiders or they will get tired of it eventually and do a 180.

Heck, maybe free work is what they want. But I can't help but think over time they will turn sour to looking "bad" as a game developer.

This.

Also Sonic Fan Remix is too graphically busy. It tries way too hard.

Now Sonic Before the Sequel is an excellent fan game with incredibly professional music:

Ah man, that trailer brings back memories.

And sure, but I'd also like it to be multiplat. Or at least also available on the 3DS.
