I once worked with a guy for three years and never learned his name. Best friend I ever had. We still never talk sometimes.

No no Kuni, it's the RPG of this generation easily. Zenonlade is top 5 but not #1

ni no kuni

It's got pokemon style rpg gameplay (over 200 creatures to tame, evolve, feed etc), studio ghibli anime style, and great music.

Because that's not the definition of better.

So if Nintendo changed the name of the Wii - U, would they be pulling a U-Wii?

playing both...
xenoblade

ni no kuni has its charm, but that's because of the nature of the story.

I would say that, but there are many many issues I personally have with the game. AI teammates are horrible and mass consume MP and die. If there was a "reserve 50% mp" tactic like the Tales games have instead of no mp or all mp, I would be happy. Also, not liking not being able to move and attack at the same time. The moment you cue "attack", you are locked out of the control. Also, the story is a little weak in Ni No Kuni. It's enjoyable but leaves something to be desired.

It's definitely one of the better RPGs I've played this gen along with Dragon's Dogma and Tales of Graces F, but Xenoblade is the better game for me.

These days, all the kids are playing M rated games while the adults are lining up for Pokemon. Which game is a kid's game now?

Even in the Ni no Kuni board, there's a strong preference for Xenoblade.

That said, Ni no Kuni is great, from what I've played. I was expecting something of Dark Cloud quality and was not dissapointed. Still, Xenoblade gets my vote.
