Thanks TC. More people need to know. Reggie is a downright liar and terrible representative for Nintendo.

If this is the direction the company is headed in I can see why the masses don't want to be a part of it.

Isn't it pretty common for console manufactures to take a 10-20% cut from of non first party retail sales?
I'd imagine that they'd profit rather easily, depending on the title (first party especially). I'm assuming that the 3:1 attach rate doesn't factor in digital sales either, which I'm also assuming they profit more off of (although not as much as the other two platforms, if the high developer revenue rumors are true).

How does selling a software make a hardware profitable? Does a direct % of software revenue go straight into N's pocket, and then go directly to cover hardware cost?

Serious question. I am confused about it.

No clue on how the royalty profits are.
