Next gen is here already on the PCs, especially if the PS4/720 specificiations are anything to go by.
However, what should be said is that the next gen console games will really not be much of a change to the current ones in terms of visuals. Things will look smoother, there'll be post processing (hopefully). It'll all be about the 60fps (delivering a smooth gaming experience), support for 4k resolutions, more players together online in games (BF3 has 64 player servers as an example on PCs and 24 on consoles).
But can the Wii U do all of that? It cannot, therefore it is current gen. EA is right.

True or False, when the 720/ps4 come out, will they be able to make more powerful games that what the wii u can do? even if its just slightly more powerful. |

realskillz1990Posted 2/1/2013 8:31:04 PM | wii u isn't a next gen console it has similar specs to the ps3 its the equivalent of having a 2007 model tv and when you finally upgrade to the newest 2013 model tv it looks exactly the same/worse as the 07 model.
