and that's 1 game if it's a 1st party game, they only get like 7 bucks for 3rd party games, so they have to have 3 of those sold to make a profit

Also, we don't exactly know what system or region this is. Is it one game sold in Japan? Because if so, then they're taking some pretty big hits on consoles sold in the US. Is it the Deluxe Set? Because it probably doesn't cost them $50 to put in an extra 24 GB, so they're losing more money on the Basic Set. We also have to remember that, if it is the Deluxe Set, they're losing out on the money from the extra bundles in other regions like the Zombie U bundle.

Exchange rates. Because of the weak dollar/weaker euro/really strong yen, Nintendo loses more money.
