Does anybody actually "mains" Nintendo consoles?

In the past my parents have only allowed me to get one system per generation and I've traditionally stuck with Nintendo. The only time I got a non-Nintendo system was the PS2 cause my brother really wanted it. I hardly played the damn thing and from that point on I continued Nintendo only even though I have my own money now.

Nintendo has always been secondary for me, but usually just because of timing. I got my Xbox when I was 7, and a gamecube when I was 10. Although I got the Wii first, it was for the family, so I mained ps2. Then I got a 360...

The Gamecube was actually my main console. That was the last time I focused on Nintendo, though.

I only play Nintendo aside from a handful of games on my iphone. ps360 games look stupid and boring and appear to be targeted at the same braindead demographic that finds the big bang theory funny. You can keep your mindless trash.

Terrible opinion.

I 'main' whatever console the current gen Monster Hunter and Harvest Moon games are on.

In this case Wii/WiiU and DSi/3DS. >.>

Yes, I do. I'll "main" another console when Zelda shows up somewhere else.

I feel bad for anyone that only had Nintendo consoles, they missed out on so many games especially from the PS1 PS2 and PS3.

Nobody missed out on anything on the PS1. There was nothing worth playing. And yes, I've played and owned a rather large majority of the PS1 library (not every game, but every major game, and a lot of the smaller ones too). The Saturn was where it was at.

The PS2 was great, not the greatest console of all time, but deserves to be mentioned alongside the Dreamcast and the SNES.

PS3 is abysmal. Actually, I'd like to say that, but it's only Sony's offerings that are bad.
The third party games range from good to pretty damn good (no great games on it, which is strange, even the Jaguar had one great game).

I must say though, Nintendo gamers have had it pretty sweet.

The Gamecube had a stellar library, so Nintendo made up for the failure that was the N64.

Then to get the single best sidescroller of all time on the Wii (DKCR, for the uneducated), twas as if someone had printed Valhalla itself onto a disc.

Surely you're not saying that the MegaMan games (especially the MegaMan Legends Trilogy) were "not worth playing", are you?

I play too many 3rd party games for Nintendo to be my main console. Dead Space 3 is coming out next week!
