I am planning on getting an HD tv since Nintendo's wii U has HD but I also want to have my Wii and PS3 hooked to the tv as well what brand would be good and not to expensive?

I've got a Vizio. The price was right, but sometimes when gaming there is a noticeable amount of lag.

What's your price range.

I have a Panasonic Viera plasma TV and have loved it for every second of the three years I've had it. I've always bought Viera's and they've never let me down.

Plasmas:
Heavier/Thicker
Higher Refresh Rate
More Power Hungry
Glass Screen (causes bad glare)
Better contrast
Cheaper
Have been around longer (more robust)

LED:
Lighter/Skinnier
Slower Refresh Rate
Energy Friendly
Visuals "pop" out

Personal opinion matters most...go to best buy and do some window shopping (but keep in mind the settings aren't always set up properly)

Any other ones I'd like everything to look great when Legends, Pikmin, Last of Us and other come out.

I bought a 3D plasma by Samsung last year when Uncle Sam gave me my money back.

Gaming on a plasma is great,I've gamed on every tv technology but plasma has been the best experience.

The colors and detail really pop and it makes the smoke/fog effects in Baman AC (as an example) look really awesome.

Nintendo Land and Mario Wii U both look really amazing on it because of the colors, depth, shaders and details that they put into those games.
