Metroid Zero Mission and Super Metroid are some of the finest 2D games ever made and are the best in the series.
Metroid Fusion is pretty cool I guess.

I don't think Platinum has any say on whether the game is coming or not. I think it comes down to Konami as they are the publishers and holders of the license.

Because the first Bayonetta was incredibly average, and Kojima is not average. Rising is pretty damn awesome from the demo.

I never met a single person that ever cared about Bayonetta, but announce an exclusive sequel on it for a Nintendo system with no games, and the fanbois suddenly act like Bayonetta is AAA status. Its very far from that.


kojima is overrated.....what does this guy do except metal gear ???? first mgs on ps1 was a masterpiece thats it. not to mention that i highly doubt that kojima has big involvement in mgr.

About the same time that a people said that they buy Nintendo consoles for first party games and don't care about 3rd party games. Which basically means anytime a 3rd party dev doesn't announce their game for the Nintendo console.

This is a shame - If it were to have launched in February like the other consoles, I'd get it on Wii U if only to support 3rd Parties on the system.

I'm too impatient to 'wait and see' for 6 months incase either gets a port.

It really grinds my gears when developers port a game after X amount of time since launch and then complains that there was little demand.

I'd honestly love to get DMC on Wii U too.

Looks like I'll be getting Bayonetta 2 for sure though.

Rising is pretty damn awesome from the demo.

I'm going to disagree with you. From the demo I played it's pretty average hack n slash fair. Wasn't that compelling imo. The best part about it was 60fps and blade mode which was pretty much useless in combat. The controls are unintuitive for the most part (like dodging and parrying and all that).

He didn't make Castlevania.

And yes, Kojima is overrated. A good designer would try new things instead of focusing on sequels for the same series over and over.
