How long would it take EA to die if people boycotted their sports games?

The last EA game I bought was Mass Effect 3 back when it first came out for PC. Since they effectively killed the series for me, I won't feel the need to buy another Mass Effect. I am a little sad that they have Command and Conquer, but it hasn't been good in a while either.

Compared to the PS2 era I rarely buy an EA game anymore. I've maybe bought 2-3 this gen compared to 10+ last gen. They're floundering even with people buying Madden every year which I still can't wrap my head around.

Madden is EA's Mario.

Would be a massive blow. They'd sell a few studios before dying.

Crysis, Dragon Age, Mass Effect, The Sims, Sim City, Command and Conquer, Need for Speed, Medal of Honor, Dead Space and Battlefield have massive fanbase.

Not anymore. Have you met Command and Conquer 4?
