I know that the Wii only supports Pro Logic II, and the Wii U doesn't even support Dolby at all, so is there a way to do it on the Wii mode on the Wii U or should I just use my Wii? I still have my Wii plugged in to play GameCube games, so it's not really less of a convenience to use it. --- Everybody's havin' a good time with Poppy Bros!
I personally recommend playing on the Wii if you're basing this on surround sound. Very few games allow surround sound via Wii mode
I believe the few games that allow it have to have the option in the game's menu for Dolby Pro Logic, and you have to change the Wii U's sound option to stereo. --- [iQ]Waggy/Time2Pan[iQ] - 1814-6320-1343 || [PHX]Cinder - 3670-8922-4025 || PSN/NNID - Waggy777 http://gephx.webs.com/ || http://www.youtube.com/user/waggystg
I get a surround sound signal on Wii games (obviously a faux matrix mix), even by leaving my receiver on auto surround. But, if you're only getting stereo sound from your front speakers, try changing your receiver to a PL IIx mode, or something else that will upmix your stereo signal. --- "Cats...are kind of like girls.
