I'm with everyone else in that i'd love for last story to be a regular series (cuz square has killed ff), but, in fairness, that artwork could literally be from any rpg past present or future. They all pretty much look like that now. Hell if you squint your eyes it kind of looks like the x game that monolith is working on.

Hate to say this, but this is the concept art for the original "The Last World" which was the real The Last Story before Niintendo said it was too mature.

Then they reworked it and The Last Story came to be.

Still Mistwalker had said they are working on a Wii U Action RPG. Planning stages, but unfortunately this is just concept art from The Last Story.

I hope so as well Last Story was one of the best RPGs of last year not even 13 or 13-2 was as good in my opinion.

If they do, please oh PLEASE make it longer.

The game was fun while it lasted, but it's nothing but a bargain bin game with how fast I finished it.

I think it's old artwork for The Last Story. You can see that it says "Last World" on the bottom right dragon which is what the game was originally going to be called. I think Nintendo said it was too dark and dreary, so the name was changed and some of the gameplay/story was altered.

But for the love I have towards the last story I would gladly accept a new game from mistwalker. Whether that be continuing with the the last story or a totally new IP.
