Can you Install games to the Hard Drive? KInd of like with the 360 and PS3.
I'm planning to buy a Wii U soon, but this is my only concern.

I really don't want to wear and tear the Disc Reading Drive and would like to install the game on the Hard Drive, kInd of like with the 360 and PS3.

Since 8 GB or 32 GB is too small, can you install games on an External Hard Drive?

The answer is kinda obvious, isn't it?

So I'm guessing you can't install. So can you install games on an External Hard Drive then?

You can't install. You can digital download some retail games on release day, but not install off the disc.

Not even on the external hard drive.

So why is that? The 360 and PS3 has that option to reduce loading times and to save wear and tear on the Disc Reading Drive.

Isn't the Wii U suppose to have the features that 360 and PS3 already have?

Who knows, it's possible it might be a later option. The 360 sure didn't have the feature at launch.

Also generally speaking all the consoles have vastly different options.

Beats me. Nothing was ever stated that the Wii U was going to do everything that a 360/PS3 can do. Just a feature that they omitted in favor of other things, I guess.

So then should I spend on buying a Wii U now? Or should I wait until the Installing feature is implemented which will make Nintendo to put a 100GB or higher for the Wii U.

Nintendo has made no mention of adding it. Just wait til the wii u gets a must have game. This will most likely be next year.

Honestly if there are games out you see you like get it. Not sure if Nintendo will add a 100 GB HDD though the Wii U allows for externals to be used (UP to 3 TB) so even if you get one now when it comes to for a HDD upgrade you can just buy a cheap external.
