Iwata: "Time will eventually solve" Wii U Development Quality Gap

And here's me thinking there would have been a discussion on the actual topic.

Can people ignore trolls and stop cluttering up the boards by quoting and retaliating constantly?

On Topic - time will tell which 3rd parties will put the effort into understanding the Wii U hardware. Im glad platinum are working hard on it with decent effort. Also glad to see Nintendo have a grasp on their own system finally :p I wonder if this means they will be able to support their own controllers in the future too (pro).

Lol, time won't solve anything. Here's an Xbox 360 launch game compared to an Xbox launch game.

The Xbox:

That's how big the difference is. Wii U's a weak piece of garbage on the same level as the Vita.

Are you sure that Xbox title wasn't released late into the console's life? All Xbox games looked horrid.

I wonder if they asked James Rolf for his likeness. I'd be pretty pissed if they stole my license.

You know who he should get to kick Microsoft's assessess? The Angry Video Game Nerd, shame no one knows who that devilish bastard really is.

lol you nailed it.

Showing Halo 4 (the latest gen for Xbox 360)
Superman for Nintendo 64 (the worst looking game ever)

But why oh why did Nintendo skimp on the hardware when Sony and Microsoft are so close with their next gen consoles? It makes NO sense from my view point.

That new hardware takes time to get used to is obvious.

What has people concerned is that none of the currently released or previewed games show any signs of progress over the PS360 at all, which, if the progress of Sony/MSs next consoles is the normal generational step, means that we'll have a scenario somewhat similar to the Wii where multiplatform releases were mostly impossible.

I liked the Wii as it was, but i also think that while i absolutely love the GamePad, it does not have the same casual attraction as the Wii remote had.

I'll wait and see how all this turns out. The Wii U is currently having a headstart, what happened so far was pure bonus time. What's going to be interesting is E3 - either Nintendo is clever and uses ALL their games to overshadow the PS470 hardware news, or they screw up again by saving important announcements for those Nintendo Directs nobody cares about and allow the other systems to gain massive hype
