Citan22 posted... in short, if you look back at previous generations, not once did most power result in best games. so why is everyone so convinced that it's going to matter this time around? Look at Psychonauts. Having inferior hardware can hurt a game. The game was pretty bad on PS2 with those awful graphics and poor framerate that crippled the experience. The game is good... just not on PS2.

I loved Guilty Gear on the Wii (and PS2, 360, DS) and they need to finish the series! One more game! Screw blazblue! --- NNID: Ko-san Currently Playing: Zelda2, Muramasa, One Piece

This is just getting sad. A bunch of fans are happy thinking their new toy is hot stuff until they find out everyone else not in their click knows its basically a 360 with a ds screen in the controller. They get their feelings hurt and revert to the same thing they've been saying about the Wii for almost a decade now. It's not the graphics or power, it's the games. <Groan> Hypocrites.
Exactly. Nintendo have proved time and time again that specs don't matter. (Look at the 3DS and the Vita.) And what a lot of people forget is that Trine 2 runs far better on Wii U than it does on PS360.
TC I have to respectfully disagree with your statement that the Wii had the best Survival Horror game of this past generation. I feel that the best Survival Horror game of the past generation was hands down Dead Space 2 which was not on the Wii. I feel this way because out of all the Survival Horror games I've played during this past generation Dead Space 2 was the only one that really managed to freak me the f&*k out .

I feel this way because out of all the Survival Horror games I've played during this past generation Dead Space 2 was the only one to really managed to freak me the f&*k out on a consistent basis throughout the game from beginning to end. You mention the correct answer for survival horror only to ruin it by adding the 2. Dead Space was king for survival horror this gen hands down. Dead Space 2 was the better game, but in terms of actual horror dead space 1 trumps it. Dead space 2 was mostly jump scares. --- Apathetic since I don't care when. i7 3770s @ 3.1ghz, asus gtx 660, gskill ripjaws 8 gb, ASUS|P8B75-V R, ocz 700w psu, 1.5 tb seagate hdd
