As a young villager, you’ve led a fairly uneventful life so far…with the exception of the troubles caused by your sibling’s failed attempts at alchemy. One day upon returning home from an errand, you find your village in smoking ruins. The god of the Underworld is to blame - and without any skills to counter such a powerful foe, you’re quickly defeated. When you finally come to, you find yourself in a mysterious temple and reborn as one of the 5 non-human races (e.g. Dwarf, Elf, Ogre, Puklipo, and Weddie). Now it’s up to you to right the wrongs visited upon this world and ultimately defeat the god of the Underworld.

True, but even they know DQX won't sell here with a sub. FF14 didn't sell here with a sub, and even though FF11 is still profitable, they haven't done anything major to it since well before FF14 launched the first time. This makes up for how few people actually play FF11.
