>Trusting console game companies with sensitive financial information

Because thats worked out so well in the past, right?

Nintendo sucks even worse than sony at online, I wouldnt trust them with anything remotely as sensitive as a credit or debit card number. Their security is probably terrible and full of holes.

No thanks.

What exactly runs this tech anyway? Is it some sort of wireless communication like the 3DS' use for Offline play or a camera thing? I never understood. All I saw was the Rayman video.

"Also, an increasing number of arcade games are utilizing IC cards which can read and write data in order to record users' scores and it is possible for Wii U games to connect with them."

I'm going to make an ultra safe guess and say the latest Mario Kart arcade game will make use of this in some fashion.

I remember reading about how the GamePad would have a NFC reader on it, then being confused when the eShop didn't actually support credit cards with such a chip in them.

I literally just referenced that incident dude. Get off your console wars crack please, this isnt a sony vs nintendo or nintendo vs someone else thing.

All 3 console companies suck ass at this point, and I wouldnt trust my info with any of them. Period.
