It all makes sense now...

All this talk about the GPU has led me to one conclusion.

People are attempting to troll Nintendo into releasing information.

The scans proving that the GPU is 100% custom, yet people are still intent on making false comparisons. Then you've got DF, one of the largest biased groups available professing how the Wii U is not next-gen using such false information to back their claim up. Dozens upon dozens of tools down-ranking posts Eurogamer that are proving why the information is false. It's all an elaborate scheme to spread the word world-wide and try and get Nintendo into raging how people are false with this information, which coincidentally would require Nintendo having to show their hand of cards.

And all it took was a couple of days of understanding the trolls here....

It all makes sense now.

No. It's just fanboys in denial. The Wii U's GPU is very very weak. It only has 8 ROPs and a lot of "dead space" on the board. It looks like it was designed by a 3 year old.

Why would Nintendo admit to a weak system? You notice how during interviews when asked the question they retort to "It's not about power, it's about gameplay", that alone is obviously enough evidence that those sites are not far off from the truth.

Considering the type of person Iwata is, why would he flaunt off powerful hardware? He's more of an apologizer than a flaunter, having shown that when mentioning the current software lineup, but if the hardware was weak, then he'd have apologized for that as well. He hasn't.
