I bet he's being a douchebag, calling the recent Rayman Legends news "interesting Wii U related news".

I mean... it IS interesting in a "why the f*** are the delaying a game that is already done just to release a multiplat version?" type of deal

These days, all the kids are playing M rated games while the adults are lining up for Pokemon. Which game is a kid's game now?

What a dumbass. This is why you should never trust IGN for news.

You see IGN, there's another word that people use to describe news like this. "Bad". "Bad news for Wii U coming tomorrow" would have been a much more accurate tweet.

The guy is a dumb ass, but the people who got all riled up hoping for some major announcement are even worse for feeding into all this nonsense. It's one thing to simply hope for a certain announcement, but to get worked up and then all disappointed when it isn't what you wanted is naive and obnoxious. If the announcement you were hoping for didn't happen, why not just move on with your life?

And it isn't like the guy lied. This is somewhat interesting news. He never said it would be life altering, though by the response of some of the loyalists on this board, it does appear to have altered at least a few people's lives, which is sad.

A lot of you will blame Ubisoft but I think the blame is Nintendo's. It has not created a compelling business scenario for third parties.

I agree, but his response to his subscriber's disdain is not any better.

Nope. Ubisoft said it would play like Origins. The Wii U second-screen features will remain exclusive to the Wii U.
