Platinum has never ported a game, why would they start now?

Of the 5 games they have developed so far, they have never once put any time into porting it to another console. Only two of those games were developed for multiple platforms.

Of the three games currently in production, only one is being developed by Platinum for multiple platforms.

Needless to say, it doesnt appear that Platinum will be porting any of their games soon. They have never developed the same game after it has already been released for a different platform either. They have either developed one version of a game, or two different versions of the same game along side each other which is obviously not the case for The Wonderful 101 and Bayonetta 2.

The only Platinum game ever ported in any way to another console was Bayonetta and Platinum refused to take any part in that release. But hey, maybe Sega will get some shovelware developer to port a game running on a demanding engine that they know little about to the 360 and PS3, if they are even allowed to. It explains all the PC releases of their games as well, the easiest platform to port to. Oh wait...
