Everyday I try to justify the Wii U and Nintendo but they just make me so mad.

Every single day I come on the internet there is a new thing Nintendo did wrong and it just makes me rage and my inner fanboy dies a little inside.

I love my Wii U but little changes here and there start to take their toll.
Nintendo really needs help and needs to start listening to their customers.

Recently on Miiverse there was a code of conduct update and some other stuff and in the replies tons of loyal nintendo launch day supporters were voicing their concerns and frustrations about what things needed changing.
Almost all of their feedback was very important and Nintendo should have their guys reading each one of them.

If I had my own company I would think it would be extremely important to listen to loyal customer feedback.

Here we are months after launch and:

a) we still have not gotten an update to fix the constant Wii U freezing
b) adults still have to stay up until midnight to download or watch a trailer for Zombi U on the eShop
c) Nintendo has release NO INFO on the 50hz or 60hz issue.
d) no account system and an ominous "maybe in the future"

Does Nintendo even care about us?
I hate to bring up Sony or Microsoft but they usually release updates within a week of there being a problem.
They also are quite quick to answer problems on their website or official forums.

I really think Nintendo needs to hire some young intelligent people that could help bring Nintendo into a more user friendly and customer friendly environment.

I would be giving Nintendo money left and right if they could assure me that my purchases would forever be linked to my account.

I agree. I hope Nintendo stops being so incredibly cheap with everything they do. At some point they're going to need to invest money to get more money. They can't just hope everything constantly remains the same and give us tiny incremental upgrades every 8 years.

Lastly, we need these crappy systems to fail in order for Nintendo to listen again. All though the Wii u is salvageable, especially with a price cut.

This is EXACTLY what happened to me. I used to be a massive Nintendo fanboy, but after a while you just can't defend the company anymore.

I said a little while ago and even provided proof that Nintendo has more or less said they will not support the Wii U as much as planned due to the disappointing sales. But everyone said I was just trolling.

Yeah same here.
I mean I love Nintendo and they will always have a place in my heart and the same goes for my friends which now only play Xbox or Playstation.

Whenever I ask them why they don't like Nintendo they usually say its because they need to make some massive changes to cater towards their loyal customer fanbase and the fanbase that they lost but still hold on to their name for nostalgia sake.

Another one bites the dust. Nintendo is losing fans.

Release some online patches to games released with local multiplayer to extend the life of the games it does have on it.

I'm in the same boat as you. I love Nintendo but every time I come here there's always news about how they're taking hit after hit "ea say wii u isn't next gen".."activison disappointed with wii u" ..

And now they lost what was supposed to be a wii u exclusive&got pushed back months so it releases with the other consoles.

It just makes me wonder if its worthwhile sticking around.

I think some of the hardcore fans have this incredible sense of entitlement. They're basically trying to hold Nintendo hostage, like they're not allowed to expand their business. "Stay the same way you did in my childhood or I'll abandon you, never try new things 'cause that's bad".

LOL what? In your childhood they had amazing systems.

Obviously fans want that to happen...

Instead we get this, Wii-U edition.
