If they had done all that with Monster Hunter for a Monster Hunter bundle, it might have been enough to get me to go for it now. Its not yet though. I need a title in there I actually want. It is, however, actually a pretty good bundle.

It's not the same price as the original Deluxe, so why would they. You spend some money on those extra parts, it's not just the same price.


I see this as: They needed something to make up for the lack of Rayman and to sell systems. Ubisoft needed to make up for screwing over the Rayman crowd so of course they give their game away at a cheaper price in hopes to help Nintendo and attone for what they did.


Well I see it as I bought the deluxe unit and the pro controller for 400 plus tax so I got screwed out of 10 bucks and a game. That's what happens when you're and early adopter I guess.


Exactly. That's the chance you take. I was upset buying a PS3 and then getting online 3 days later and finding out if i had waited maybe a month the Slim would have been out.

It sucks, but that's how the business is. As soon as you get the next big thing, something has taken it's place. It's a vicious cycle where compromise is necessary.


Yeah, I guess I'm used to it by now. It just seems to happen faster and faster these days. 3ds price drop, vita bundles and promotions, and now this. I remember when it used to take at least a year for deals like this. Although, this bundle was available at uk launch so it would have been nice if they offered this in the na launch too. Not wait only 3 months and then offer it.

I agree that it's happening way to fast. But the difference i think now is the internet. It's easier to poll consumers on how things are going, what they like, and what they don't. It's easier to cater to your audience in this respect.

Yes! This is perfect timing for an awesome bundle. I was going to get a Wii U this weekend with ZombiU, but I don't mind waiting an extra week. And a pro controller included makes it much more sweeter. Now I can finally change my sig! :P

Well all I can do is hope this sells more wii u so developers will make more games for it.
