So, why did so many of the bundles sell? Also, the install base is so large in no small part because of those games. Galaxy sold 10 mil and it came out in 2007 when the install base was a fraction of what it is currently. SSBB was one of the most hyped games ever. I realize these systems are interrelated due to the market. But I would much much rather discuss the system based on what it is, not on what might be, or how it might be positioned. I don;t like the WiiU so far. I love Nintendo. So I am on the fence. I am a gamer, mostly PC. But most posts, for against, blah blah blah, are just ignorant, uninformed, and irrelevant.

Play Station has never had very appealing exclusives to me, and whenever someone rattles off a list of great Playstation games across all PS consoles, over half of them are JRPGs and games I have never even heard of. 90% of the games worth buying this gen were multiplatform anyway, so I see no reason at all to purchase a PS4, but MAYBE I will get a Wii U if some 1t party games seem to look good. Although, I will probably end up getting a Wii U for 1 game, Smash bros. Did it with the Wii... |

atopp399Posted 2/8/2013 2:59:42 PM | WII U will get a $50 drop by the end of 2013 I bet. $250-$300 is a lot easier for mom and dad, or grandpa and grandma than $400+ for Christmas or birthday gift. And let's face it, a lot of video game sales are to kids. |
