Nintendo going third party would be bad.

So they make good games but crap consoles? Why? How do you decide that their hardware is crap. I have a bad ps3 sitting at my house. Yet all my nintendo systems work. If you like their games buy their system. They will never go 3rd party and most likely will be the last console maker out there. Sony will be out of business within years at the rate they are going and MS is going to start making all their stuff just mini pcs.

I don't know why they make crap consoles, I can tell you why the wiiU, 3DS and wii are crap consoles though if you like.

It does off-TV play better than other consoles.

Nope, ps3 has better range with psp/vita.

But you need a PSP or a Vita. You don't need anything else with the WiiU.

So are you saying quit now while Nintendo is still lucrative? That's dumb.

Also, quality is subjective. One mans trash is another mans treasure.

Quality is subjective, wiiU being a bad console isn't. There is literally nothing it does better then other consoles and about a dozen things it does worse.

Nothing it does better?

So, I suppose the PS4/720 already has a touch screen, motion controls, all the asymmetrical-multiplayer stuff, et cetera.

Yep, if you buy a Vita or tablet to go along with them.

^This is literally how his mind works. Built-in functionality is exactly the same as functionality added by buying expensive add-ons.

The tablet controller also conveniently comes with every single WiiU. The Vita does NOT come with every PS3 you buy. It's also significantly more expensive than the tablet controller would be on its own.

You also need a Vita, a memory card for the Vita, and a copy of the same game on both the PS3 and the Vita.

That's a lot of money and setup for something that isn't that good of a feature.
