The most sense in this topic yet. It's like people just forget how things were when these titles were released.

and i'd say the only thing that really got them off the ground was that HD was the BIG NEW tech that hit the markets. HD Tv's were rarer then than now. Right now during this New Generation, there's nothing big and fancy out in the Tech world other than 3D, and that is more of a novelty than anything.

I'm thinking our next BIG evolutionary generation will be the one after this.

Yep people were pretty much suckers to buy it early. Lol now they wont have anything for quite a while AND they get to pay extra money for any games they already downloaded on Wii.

My Wii was dying(And there won't be much of a future for the Wii anyway now so no point getting a new one), there are games I want for the Wii U(Whether they are out or not is irrelevant to me when I'm replacing a console), 5-player splitscreen play with several games(2-player doesn't even "split" the screen!), I don't need to unplug my 360 or PS1 from the telly to play some of the Wii U's games and I could afford it rather nicely.

I had plenty of reasons personally. The only thing it really needs is more games, not a price cut. Especially when Nintendo are already making losses for each sold console.

you dont have to pay extra for games u dled to your wii VC

now if you want miiverse and to play on the game pad you can as an OPTION

Has nothing to do with a price drop. They need better first party games, or just games in general. If you can't afford it that's a personal problem.
