Platinum Games is enough to make the Wii U worth the buy.

Bayonetta 2 and The Wonderful 101 are exclusive to the Wii U (and according to Hideki Kamiya, they will stay exclusive until the day Nintendo says "ok lets port them")

Platinum Games is a developer consisting of some Ex-Capcom employees who formed their own company after Capcom closed their old company Clover (maker of games like Viewtiful Joe, Okami, and God Hand) and started to make games published under Sega.

They've made some of the best hidden gems this generation including Bayonetta, Madworld, Vanquish, and Infinite Space. The quality of their games and the direction they put them in are truly phenomenal.

I would honestly say that they were a better developer then Nintendo themselves this generation and since they're partnering up for not one, but TWO exclusives I'd say that it's enough of a reason to get a Wii U, infact it was the reason why I got my Wii U.

meh I wonder if bayonetta 2 will actually sell well on wii u I mean how many fans of that series actually have or will get a wii u for just that one game. I got my wii u for future nintendo first party games and sonic games I don't care about 3rd party much when it comes to nintendo consoles with the expection of sega games that I like bayonetta 2 is not one of them for me though.

Not for me,

Only Zelda U & 3D Mario U as long they don'tscrew the games up makes Wii U worth a purchase so far.

I remember when everyone was saying this about HVS with the Wii.

Nintendo should just buy platinum games, like they bought monolith soft. That way they (nintendo) would have 3 awesome subsidiary companies under there control. The third is retro studios in case you're wondering. Having these 3 very talented companies churn out exclusives for their systems, along with their own legendary first party IPs would ensure that nintendo remained at the top.

Except HVS was known for shovelware. The Conduit was supposed to be their breakthrough, but outside of graphics, it ended up being a very subpar FPS game. And that's not because it's on the Wii, because the Wii has a few FPS that are great as well.

That's just some speculation though.

Though Platinum Games at the moment does only have 3 announced games and 2 of them are Wii U exclusive.
