Is it safe to say the "Glory Days" of Nintendo was the Nintendo 64 era?

This is not a topic to shed critical light on Nintendo's current status or the Wii u. I'm confident Nintendo will dominate the next gen console era for a couple of years.

Its just, if I were to pick a spot in the timeline of the history of video games and Nintendo's part in the industry, I would definitely say the N64 years gave us the most bang for our buck.

Look at the juggernaut titles:

Zelda Ocarina of time
Zelda Majora's Mask (these 2 are widely regarded as top 10 games of all-time)
Mario 64 (First ever 3d world that is true 3d).
Diddy Kong Racing
Mario Kart 64

Just in those 5 games alone, you have practically 5 triple AAA titles that can stand up against any other 5 AAA titles of any other console in the history of the video game industry.

When you combine this with the fact that the PC released mega juggernaut titles as well during this time such as Diablo 1/2, Starcraft 1, Baulders Gate, and Everquest, you can see why I consider the Nintendo 64 era as the best years for Nintendo and video games in general.

How do you guys feel about this?

The Golden age was the NES-SNES Era. Glorydays are whatever you remember most fondly.

It's whatever you remember most fondly.
But it's also, for Nintendo, the SNES.
Are we not drawn onward, we few? Drawn onward to new era?

Nothing even comes close to the SNES.

Glory Days of Nintendo were the time Playstation didn't exist yet, Cause Playstation stole every 3rd party Nintendo ever had and it never came back to Nintendo ever again cause they realize Sony is a better partner than Nintendo.
