The game I played was the Rayman demo. It felt awkward switching my view from the TV to the controller and back. over and over. Are all the games like this. What I mean is do you have to keep changing your view of things from the TV to the pad?

In most games, not really.

It works well in games like ZombiU for instance, as it simulates the feel of actually having to look down at what you're doing whilst taking your eyes of your surroundings.

But yeah, there aren't too many games where you have to keep switching.

I find Rayman Legends to be a very bad showcase of the system, as it arbitrarily makes you look to the controller often. On most games I've tried, there is usually some indication or it just makes sense to look at the screen.

Would definitely not want to get in a car with you being behind the wheel.

But no, not all games are like that.

Not all games, no. Some games utilize it as a second screen, but others, like NSMBU simply have it mirror what is on the TV, and you can just play on either.

To be honest, if you've played the DS, DSi or 3DS enough, the Gamepad shouldn't be a problem.
