EA has a bug up their ass

No DVD playback

-dreamcast actually sold?

EA has a bug up their ass

-meh

Screen on the controller

-a crappy tamagotchi screen that was 100% optional, but whatever

No DVD playback

-neither did the ps1 or saturn

no 3-D GTA

-gta3 was released after the dreamcast had already died, so big surprise there.

Sony announcing their upcoming system...........

-because sony is oh-so popular right now.

Yes Dreamcast did sold. The NA lauch was the biggest in console history up until that point.

Doesn't matter to me. The dreamcast was my favorite system of its generation. It had the best games too. If the wii u has the same fate, it will probably have great memorable games that I'll continue to play after its demise. It wouldn't bother me one bit. Or it'll keep going and release great games as well. Either way works for me.

Well, unlike the Dreamcast, if the Wii U fails, Nintendo will still be able to stay in the console market, unlike Sega.

Invalid comparison. Sega was broke when they released the Dreamcast. Nintendo is nowhere close to being broke. WiiU has no chance of being a second Dreamcast since if all else fails they'll be able to actually support it themselves.
