Yep, get this guy an honorary doctorate- Nintendo sold what it could on the strength of New Super Mario U (about 3 million)- Not saying there isn't other interesting games available now- but nothing other than that Mario game is selling the system right now. (face it, nobody cared about Nintendoland)

The conversation will be much different in the later half of the year as more Nintendo games come out, but the endless ballyhoo about the dismal monthly figures we'll undoubtedly have until then shoudln't really be news.

Yep. Bottomline, Nintendo dropped the ball with pushing titles back to the point where nothing was coming in January and February. The sales are not surprising.
