I know the whole 55k thing, but I want the 3-month number so that I can do some actual comparisons--I don't fancy trying to find it as a function and taking an integral, so I figured I'd ask GameFAQs. How many Wii Us have sold in November and December?
Which is more mature: playing a game where you can shoot people or seeing those games and deciding not to play them?
Yes, I formerly had a Pokemon Gen VI sig.

890,000 in November and December in the US. With January's 57k, it'll probably still be under a million come February's numbers.

So, I guess, that makes 3.5 million units sold. That's actually not half bad, considering. The 360 sold somewhere around 200k units in January, but that's because it has a high install base, not to mention, a very high failure rate, so some of the people that bought one, probably bought it to replace their previous console. On top of that, you only actually need ONE Wii U. The entire family will share it.

I've never understood it, but for some reason, I know families that have purchased the same console, for multiple children, so that each one has a 360. I guess people have never heard of multiplayer before.

We'll find out at the end of March, when they release the fiscal year report. For now, it has sold 3.06 as of January 30th, sorry but I don't know just Nov and Dec. I predict around 5 million sold as of the end of March, but that number was pulled out of my you-know-where.
