why do Nintendo fans feel they are entitled to 3rd party support?

Nintendo fans are always crying about lack of 3rd party games like they should automatically get their support just because Nintendo released a system, but most of these companies just go where the money is, they don't owe anything to the 1st parties whether its Sony, MS or Nintendo

Maybe it's because the systems are so similar to each other these days that there's no good reason NOT to have certain titles on the system. Of course third parties don't want to do that since they fear a repeat of the NES era, even though those times probably brought out the absolute best in them. Many of those companies haven't been straight since.

Wii U is the same gen as ps3 and 720.
We don't want them to lower the quality just so the last gen console wii U can play some 3rd party games.

F-Zero > Mario Kart. If you disagree, it's because you're bad at F-Zero.

Nintendo fan's DON'T Care, or so they claim. Due to buyer's remorse the Nintendo fanboys absolutely delude themselves into thinking 3rd party does not matter. One of the most common phrases spouted by these people is "3rd party doesn't matter, it's all about the 1st party". The people who do complain about it are either trolls or people who are not fanboys, and want to see a bigger library of games on their console.

Some blame third parties, many seem to blame the consumer, even fewer blame the correct thing, which is Nintendo. Nintendo lacks third party support because they now prefer to make weak specced consoles, it is difficult (so I've heard) to make games for the Wii U, and Nintendo had a long history of bullying and taking advantage of 3rd party developers.

Correction. Nintendo fans don't cry about a lack of 3rd party software, they are too busy playing their 1st party games. Haters moan about the damn 3rd party support... and can people please stop ?

WiiU launched with: Assassin's Creed (1st appearance on Nintendo home console)
Batman Arkham City (1st appearance on Nintendo home console)
COD: BlOPS2
Darksiders 2 (1st appearance on Nintendo home console)
Mass Effect 3 (1st appearance on Nintendo home console)
Ninja Gaiden 3
Sonic Racing
Tekken (1st appearance on Nintendo home console???)

Whether you think the 3rd party support is bad or good... No one can deny that it is getting better. The WiiU launched with more 3rd party titles that I haven't mentioned, but five of the ones I mentioned are huge franchises, that have never even appeared on an Nintendo home console.

Run 3rd party developers run ! WiiU's gonna eat your money and work.
