Everyone is talking about how the PS4 will be so powerful, but won't be much more expensive than the Wii U, and will therefore hurt the Wii U's sales.

But they miss the fact that the gamepad probably only costs $65-$75 to manufacture. If Sony fills that in with a controller and better specs, they have about $50 to improve the the specs. That's not going to blow the Wii U out of the water.

If sony is going to make such a powerful console, the PS4 will have to be a lot pricier than the Wii U

It depends on what parts it uses.

But you're right. PC's have taught us that the best hardware isn't cheap.

'probably'? Considering that they sell Gamepads for somewhere about ~170 and Nintendo supposedly loses money on Basic WiiUs sold, I'm going to need a credible source.

Even if the Gamepad was only $100, with the console at 200, that would allow the PS4 to easily cost -twice as much- as a WiiU.

Im not a sony fan but sony never comes to battle unprepared. They bring it every time and are a worthy competitor.

Its going to be at the minimum $400, so its already more expensive than the deluxe wii u.
