can i move saved data from the wii to the wiiU?

can i move saved data from the wii to the wiiU? i have skyward sword data on a memory card. i sold my wii... and am getting a wiiu soon. is it possible?

only with the transfer tool, you need your wii

Since it isn't an online enabled save (at least I'm pretty sure) you should be able to copy it over using the data management section in the virtual wii. Most likely you'll need to create a new save file and delete it before copying over your old one. (Just like if you download a save for a game you've never played before)
