I mean c'mon.. Don't you think it sounds childish and silly?!

And Wii U?!?! C'mon!! Name it Nintendo revolution or something.. Anything that sounds good.

Microsoft and Sony sure knew how to name their products.. Nintendo didn't.. :(

I'm not a troll I am a proud owner of Wii U.. I just really dislike telling people I own a "Wii U".. Sounds silly. Wish it was called something cooler

Of course it's not a big deal. GameCube had an awsome name! Out of all the available names I'm just curious why they chose Wii and stuck with it and chose Wii U.

Just saying it could have been called something cooler. :D

The other companies bank on brand recognition. Xbox "..." and Playstation "...." So I guess Nintendo thought they could do it too. Maybe they thought it would net higher sales.

Personally, I call it the U. Simple and sweet.
