And that's the reason I'm going to buy a PS4, likely at launch.
I don't like the direction Nintendo is taking Mario and Zelda, Donkey Kong has gotten
1 new game in the main series in the past decade, Metroid is more or less dead at this point in Nintendo's eyes, and Smash Bros, while fun, simply isn't a game I'm interested in playing in the long term, especially when I can just as easily put in Brawl or Melee and have a fun time with my friends that way.
The only two games that have even slightly interested me in the WiiU's up coming library is the Wind Waker HD and Pikmin 3. The PS4 offers me InFamous, Knack, Final Fantasy XV, and it's PS3 Cloud-Based library (including the PS2 and PS1 games as well).
Third Party support is a system seller for the majority of gamers. Only the most die hard of Nintendo Fans are okay with being passed by on amazing titles for this year's latest Mario title, or getting a console title every 4-5 years.
