I don't understand the eshop at all

I didn't own a Wii, but I'd like to buy a couple of the old Zelda games and play them on my Wii U.

I can't find any of them, and what I have been able to find off of google wasn't really helpful.

At what point are the NES, SNES, Gamecube games gonna be avaliable on Wii U?

You can buy NES and SNES games on the Wii eshop, under Wii mode on Wii U. For Gamecube, they should release some on the Wii U, but who knows when?

I didn't even know there was a "Wii" mode...

Are they going to release the games on the eshop for the Wii U though?

I believe that is scheduled for the summer update.

If you buy games in Wii mode, you'll need to pay $1-$1.50 to upgrade to Wii U versions to take advantage of added features (offscreen play, miiverse access, button mapping) once they are re-released.

So I shouldn't spend my club nintendo points yet?

I should hold onto them until the Wii U shop opens up.
