So..do I need a wiimote to access virtual console stuff?

Just out of curiosity; I havent connected my Wii U to the internet yet; but i noticed the main menu has no virtual console area? and then I noticed the "Wii Menu"...

So uh..I kinda got rid of my wii along with the wiimote..I take it im screwed until I get another wii mote?

yes. and you will need a classic controller as well for any 16 bit+ games, pro controller not compatible unless something got updated.

They run like 10 bucks on ebay, certainly Gamestop has tons of them used too by now.
