I never played Metroid Prime 3 on the Wii but am playing it now on Wii U

Dang, this game is great.

I got it for $4.50 at Gamestop used but complete. Why didn't all Wii games look this good? And the controls are so smooth with motion controls done right. Visually it's really cool.. totally digging it.

There are great Wii games, people just liked to group all of the good ones in with the shovelware.

Also, MP3 was developed by arguably Nintendo's best developer.

yeah, Corruption is one of the most good-looking Wii games, together with Mario Galaxy 2 and Sonic Colors.

Because 99% of the creators of Wii games were just trying to make a quick buck. Nintendo and a select few other developers were the only ones who bothered actually making the games work for the system. People always complain that the Wii couldn't handle crap, but look at almost every Nintendo game that came out. Super Mario Galaxy? Beautiful. Skyward Sword? Masterpiece. Both run smoothly, no lag skipping or anything... Shame other developers wouldn't bother to even try to optimize and make their games run well.

yeah, I liked quite a few Wii games but skipped Metroid because I wasn't really big on all the exploration in the Prime series. I guess now that I'm older I can appreciate the slower pace of exploring and scanning.

The ps4 can stream all the PSOne, ps2 and ps3 games. Unless you got those Wii games free I would say streaming is the same as buying the actual Wii game from the store. Soooooo...

Why weren't more of the Wii games like that? It is called budget constraints. When the Wii came out, many companies never planned on it, and thus threw a small amount of resources to it. The GC was far more powerful than the PS2, and yet the Wii games look PS2-ish. It was poor development support, not poor hardware.
