CPUs handle physics, not GPUs. GPUs push polygons.

So the Wii U's CPU is admittedly weak in comparison to the PS4's, according to Blow.

Except that physics can be done on the GPU. Why do you think PhysX exists?

Hey you forgot to post this quote too

We liked the idea of being on a console, and originally we thought we might be on the PS3 or Xbox 360, but eventually we decided not to target either of those due to the relatively low system specs.

OMG their system specs are so low.

Some days don't you wish you could high five the sun

This same article is making it's round on the 360 forum touted as "MS isn't about games anymore!!!" because the developer perceives that. He also doesn't like the "leaked specs" for MS console, while apparently not actually knowing them.

It's cool if the PS4 is "super-charged" or whatever, but I'm pretty sure PS3, 360, and Wii U could handle your game.

Good to know this guy is a fanboy. Won't buy his game even if I get a PS4.

lol...how does it make him a fanboy? - because he didn't want to compromise the grand vision of his game to accommodate an audience that will likely overlook his game while simultaneously making the other ports suffer?
blame Nintendo for alienating developers and skimping out with cheap parts so that they could put more focus on half-adding a gimmick than making better games

I read the article. Mr. Blow waited for a powerful console because he didn't want to release TW on a low spec console. It seems he was eyeing the Wii U, but it wasn't what he hoped. Then Sony got a hard-on for the game.

8GB isn't very much, and acting like that's some sort of impressive number, just shows you're a console peasant.
