silly troll *pats DDP886 on the head*

I only had one wii u. Nintendo replaced my controller for free because of a defect. i was forced to take them down due to my photobucket got deleted for some reason.

You could easily find an image host and post pics without even creating an account.

I'm sure someone would be willing to make an account bet over the supposed existence of said pics.

Yeah, no ads is what killed the Sega Saturn, which was actually a fantastic system and had the potential to be more powerful than the PS1. If they don't make some ads for this Christmas then expect support for the Wii U to dwindle. Just like it did with the Sega Saturn.

I can give you 3 much better reasons why the Saturn failed

1) Surprise launch in America
2) Sega only had one retailer sell it initially
3) Sega even failed to tell most publishers

No ads was the least of its worries

The Wii U isn't selling because of three reasons.

1.Terrible economy.
2.$60 retail video games
3.Lack of AA titles.

Although other consoles such as the 360 sold more units, hardware and software sales dropped significantly compared to last year as quoted in the article.
http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2415482,00.asp
Normalized hardware sales dropped 17 percent while software sales slid 19 percent.

The bottom line ... people are scared about the economy again. Gas prices are going up and their take-home pay is going down. Something's gotta give, and it's gonna be discretionary income, which is what one uses to buy a gaming console.

Yeah the economy... Stfu with that, it nothing to do with slow sales. $60 is the going rate for all games nowadays. The only thing on your list that makes sense is #3

Why would they waste money putting ads on TV for something nobody cares about?

This was a classic commercial. Epic music, great story and simple and to the point. It tells you the Wii is so awesome that nationality is irrelevant. I remember seeing this commercial on tv years after it came out. Nintendo needs commercials like these again.

Either you are blind or just a spend thrift moron. It's common sense if everything in price goes up ($4.25 a gallon in Cali) spending $40-60 a video game is a lot. I just posted a link where it explains for 14 months video games sales are on the decline, mainly because of the economy. But let me guess in your own world the economy is doing fine and rising prices has nothing to do with slow sales right?
