Help. Tv has no HDMI port. Can't set up WiiU without cables

#1xxxxxnPosted 2/25/2013 7:45:56 AM
My bedroom TV has no HDMI port. The setup instructions that came with the WiiU say there are optional cables sold separately that are compatible with the WiiU.

Where would I buy these separate cables? GameStop? RadioShack? Please help me.

They are the same cables that the Wii used, if that helps at all. You can probably find some at Gamestop.

GameStop, Target, you name it. If you can't find them anywhere, you can buy them on Nintendo's website.

Do you have a Wii? Pretty sure you can use the scart/component cables from that.

Just a warning I only say that by having a quick look at the shape on the output on the back of my Wii U, I haven't got the Wii stuff on hand to test for you, sorry.

You can buy some Component cables for the Wii. They work with the Wii U too.
