Why haven't all the casual Wii owners upgraded to a Wii U by now?

Nintendo's consoles are just sitting on cold, store shelves unsold and unloved. Where is the demand for the Wii U from the casual market audience that the Wii had such an easy time picking up?

Where's the software that would get them to buy it? Dont know about you, but I'm not seeing Wii Fit, Wii Sports, or Wii Play in the U games section.

Maybe if Nintendo advertised it more they would. :/ Plus the titles that they like haven't been released yet.

They decided to call it the Wii U, and ironically theres still not a Wii brand game on store shelves. SMH.

I'm thinking Nintendo's not sure what to do about the balance board, thats why Wii Fit U isnt out yet. Release it w/o, make a new one, or keep bundling it with the old one. Who knows, but they need to step up their game.

They're casual. they bought one console, they dont want another so soon. give them about 10 years.

I think it's too expensive for what you get at the moment.

This coming from someone who wants one.

^^ This.

Finding 300 on an 'upgrade' is hard, especially when theres no AAA software to really entice you to do it.
