Wii U Update?

#1HumbleMavinPosted 3/5/2013 6:53:46 AM
I just got on my Wii U today and it had a console update. It was at approximately at 9:40 a.m. EST. Any idea what the update just did? I've been looking for details but I don't see any anywhere. Please post any findings, thanks.

I insalled it last night, but didn't notice any changes. It was a very small update, so it may have just changed some behind the scene things.

Heck, I almost pooped myself when I saw the update. I was hoping for the faster OS or Virtual Console. The Legend of Zelda theme began to play in my head and everything.

I noticed faster responses when switching between menus, or even switching it on. Nothing ground-breaking, but noticeable. Others (on Nintendolife) have reported their wii u doesn't freeze anymore after the update. Mine was already ok on that front, so...

you're imagining speed increases, because Ninty have already said that the new update won't be dealing with any performance or menu loading issues.

Why didnt the SNES ever need an update?

Because it was FINISHED before they released it!

PS3 and 360 weren't "finished" then when they launched... you can bet PS4 and 720 won't be "finished" either.
