Wind Waker Remake in 1080p HD?!

haven't you all heard? apparently they're remaking zelda wind waker (that used to be on gamecube) for the Wii U now. HD! looky here:

i mean..well...if anyone didn't know this of course..me , i just found out...but come on now...i loved wind waker alot but why do they keep remaking zelda games? sure it'd be awesome to see more up to date graphics and features but then again....

it'd be cool if they had a brand new zelda game JUST like the one that was seen on the wii U trailer before the console was released. i WAS expecting maybe something like majora's mask in HD. surely you all had seen that trailer right? too bad it was fake though..but who knows.....

what do you guys think?

Not sure if it will be 1080p, but it should be awesome.

Isn't this like the 2nd remake? I'm not counting the ports and consider LttP GBA version to be a port as well.

Which was the first remake?
As I recall, the DS ones were direct sequels.
