Wii U sales are lagging behind a bit, hopefully Nintendo is able to pick it up later this year.

The PS3 and 3DS are pretty much crushing everybody in sight, and the Vita and Wii U are selling quite poorly, buy apparently the Vita has gotten a nice boost in sales thanks to a price drop. Maybe Nintendo should consider something similar?

They're gonna be stubborn about dropping the price for as long as they possibly can. It will be interesting to see what their other options will be in that case.

The sales are remarkably horrible. They have no major games coming out in the next few months so I don't see why they wont hurry up and drop the price.

Because dropping the price with no games is a stupid idea.

Iwata's stubborn attitude. He ruled out the option. It might also have something to do with the reaction first adopters had when they dropped the price of the 3ds. And they've put a fair amount of money into the WiiU so far. Hey, Yamauchi had faith in the guy, so maybe Iwata knows what he's doing.

A price drop won't have any effect right now anyway. Not until the system library is built up a bit more.

once a killer app comes to the wii U i suspect a price drop will come with it
