there fun games to play but there very "safe" compared to there 3d counterparts.

They were a lot more fun at first. Now they have been shifted into the collection of games that I only play when I am reeeeally bored.

I like them for the most part, but my favorite one so far is the latest one for the Wii U, NSMBU. I find the game's Challenge mode to be my favorite mode in the game so far (can't wait to try out the Luigi DLC mode) because I feel it offers a nice mix of easy to insanely difficult challenges and contains a decent amount of them (little over 80 challenges) to try and not only beat, but go for the gold medal.

They are to me, particularly the console ones for the co-op.
