Get a screen protector and/or a protective case for the gamepad cause it costs $150 to have it repaired by Nintendo.

What? No. It costs $70 to get it repaired if it's not under warranty, free if it is under warranty (which it is by default, no extra charge), and $140 to buy a new one from scratch if you don't want to send it in to Nintendo for whatever reason.

Ok, I did not know that, I was under the impression that it cost $150 to fix after hearing about some horror stories shortly after launch about people having issues with the gamepad and Nintendo charging them $150 to get it fixed.

I paid $85+s&h $10+ $4.50 tax to get my gamepad repaired from NOA. Total was $99.50.

My main recommendation is to avoid buying retail games on the e-shop. Other than that, just remember to register at the appropriate sites for your Nintendo Club and Deluxe Program rewards.

$150 to get the gamepad replaced
$80 to get it repaired

That's not counting the shipping+tax

It comes with an HDMI and it's own sensor bar. (Stacking 2 sensor bars and a wiispeak like a boss)

The tablet controller has it's own charging cable and a separate stand.

Wii U pro controller not included I'm sure you're aware.

Supports up to 2TB external hard drive formatted to FAT32.
