Naughty Dog hasn't owned the iP since 1999.
15 games developed by other companies have released since then.

Yeah, and they haven't been anywhere near as good as when Naughty Dog developed them.

I remember reading an article about one of the Lead Designers. He commented that other companies making Crash games was like finding out your daughter performs in adult videos.

I don't see Nintendo, Microsoft, Sony. I see Mario, Zelda, Uncharted, Resident Evil, Gears of War, Alan Wake, Heavy Rain, etc. Play games, not companies.
