why has square completely forgotten about this game? its one of my favorite snes games ever, definitly in my top 5....

it was such a weird and unique game out of square, something you would never guess that came from the.

anyone know why square has chosen to bury this game?

i have been dying for a VC release since the anounce of the VC...

its just that square has been porting all their games to pretty much every platform on the market... even effing MYSTIC QUEST got a VC release.

almost all their ps1 games worth getting got psn releases.

it just really bugs me evermore, a game made specifically for american gamers in the 90's has not been given a vc or port release at all in any form.

i just want some kind of insight as to why square has abandoned their most unique game.

It's an Americanized Secret of Mana with no multiplayer and mediocre music.

Other than that, it's alright.

the music was one of the games finer points actually... so moody and atmospheric.

it had a very ecclectic cast of characters and a unique sense of humor. its a very unconventional rpg from square that kinda goes into lucasarts style adventure games territory with its tone and writing.

It was/is a great game. A real gem.

Heart of Darkness on PS feels like a spiritual sequel to me, even though they aren't the same genre.

why wouldnt i be suprised?

SE is a greedy company that likes to profit off of their customer's nostalgia (seriously, how many times will FF1 and FF4 be ported?)

what games havnt SE ported or rereleased other than Secret of Evermore? even vagrant story a massive financial failure got a second shot on psn.

i just want evermore to have a second shot too...
